Traditional Technology

This upload of picture below is to show and see how locals in the country side of Nepal processed the curd into butter. You notice indigenous tools, technique and skill to churn the curd and process the butter. All the tools are of local made: the processor, the churner, the cable and the holder. It takes about an hour to separate butter from the whey. The country farmer heats the butter into ghee, collects it in a can until it is full and finally takes it to the market for sale. It sells quickest because it is of country made and is not adulterated. Sadly, such indigenous tools and skills are being replaced by electric tools! This is one small example of how dependency comes and prevails all over.
